• Next Steps

So much more than a Sunday service. We are a family who grows together.

Whether you’re walking into church for the first time in your life or simply wondering what your next step is, the Growth Path is the place to begin. Faith is not a destination, it’s a journey. Every one of us has a next step to take. The question is, do we know what that step is? We’ve put this together to help you answer that question.

Growth Path

Hoboken Grace regularly offers a variety of Sunday classes designed to help you take your next step.

NEXT

Want to know the best ways to get involved at Hoboken Grace? Join us for NEXT, our quick introductory class held on the last Sunday of every month . In this 30-minute overview, you will learn more about who we are as a church and how to get connected.

What is Baptism?

At Hoboken Grace, we celebrate this public display of inward faith in a BIG way. If you are wondering about the step of baptism, this is the class for you. In this class held on the second Sunday of every month, you will have the opportunity to find out more about what baptism is all about.

CORE

Trying to decide if Hoboken Grace is the church family you want to call your own? CORE is a two-hour class held on the first Sunday of every month. In CORE, you will hear the heart, vision, and values of Hoboken Grace and how you can partner with us as a member.

Engage

Serving is a key value at Hoboken Grace. Engage, offered on the first Sunday of every month, gives you the basics of how and why we give back. We are all on a mission together, working as one team, one family, and one church moving in one direction: helping people find their way back to God. Whether it is serving on Sundays or being a part of our larger community events, you can make an impact.

Rhythms

How do we put into practice spiritual rhythms and biblical habits? Join us on the second Sunday of every month as we introduce you to the rhythms of Hoboken Grace.

Creating Community

Dinner Groups have always been the core of Hoboken Grace. Every Dinner Group is made up of common people, gathered at a common table, pursuing a common goal. Join us on the third Sunday of every month as we introduce you to Dinner Groups and help you discover community at Hoboken Grace.

Along the journey there are crucial practices that we build into our every day lives. The tools below are intended to help you do that. They are designed to be used on an ongoing basis as we pursue Christ together.

This spring, amplify your growth in a powerful way! Experience a one-day event designed to boost your faith and your pursuit of Christ by equipping you to move forward in specific areas of personal growth. Amplify is designed to encourage, challenge and train, while allowing you to choose one of seven exciting growth tracks based on the area you want to amplify.

Pre-marital classes consist of six 1-hour sessions that will take place on Tuesday evenings. All classes will be held at 7pm at 503 3rd Street, Hoboken. Sign up using the buttons below. The exact dates are as follows:

Winter 2017 January 31 – March 14
Spring 2017 May 23 – July 11
Fall 2017 October 24 – November 28

We’ve found that the group format is much better than individual meetings, as couples are able to learn from one another and build bonds with other couples they can consult in the future.

Here’s a note from Pastor Chris High, who will be teaching the class:

“I’m excited to get started! The process we will be walking through was crucial for Ana and I and has been for so many that I’ve been able to walk through it with over the years. I’ll see you soon!”

Our culture understands the value of training. We have training classes for everything we do. We spend years training for our careers, but for some illogical reason we think that the most difficult thing in life, parenting, should just come naturally. It’s no wonder that we struggle so much as parents. Let’s begin to change that. Join us for a class designed to get you started in your journey of learning to become a parent. The class consists of four 1-hour sessions that will take place on Tuesday evenings April 25 – May 16.
