Last week a few of us headed to Schooleys Mountain, NJ for a weekend focused on experiencing God’s presence in a new way. For everyone that attended, it was an amazing experience and people love it so much, whether it’s their first time going, or if they’ve gone multiple times.

The Story Team got a chance to speak with a few of those who attended to find out more about their experience. 

Igor, who had his first experience at Axiom, had a special time there: 

“It was my first time at Axiom and it was amazing! With the business of our day-to-day lives, Axiom helps us get away, remove all the distractions and see the beauty of God’s creation. It was also a great time to connect with people from the church and to meet new people who are on the same journey. I would highly recommend attending Axiom as you will have the chance to hear God, improve your prayer time and make long-lasting friendships.”

Helen, one of the people who attended Axiom this year had a powerful experience as well, even after attending multiple times before. Here is a little bit of what she had to say about it: 

“I have been to axiom 5 times and each time it’s a great experience. I get to meet new people and make new friends. Each year God shows me something new and wonderful. I think everyone should  experience axiom at least once to experience God’s presence.”

Everyone who experienced Axiom came back feeling refreshed and renewed after having these moments to connect and come to God in a special way. They each came back rested, excited with new ideas about how to grow in their faith, and motivated to take the next steps.
