The middle school experience is hard. And so we started VIBE as a weekly program to provide kids with a refuge from all the peer pressure and social media. It’s held on Thursday nights and the team constantly plans fun and engaging activities that are focused on restoring and re-energizing these students. It’s a way to start or deepen their relationship with God and to do that with friends!

But don’t take it from us. Last night we asked a few of the middle schoolers what they think of VIBE:

“I love being at VIBE because it provides a safe environment for me to talk about what’s been going on and I love seeing my friends and love how they present the Bible and church to us in a middle school friendly way!” – Loren

“I like how all of the small group leaders are really committed to doing their work and I know they work really hard to set things up. I just look forward to having fun every Thursday and learning about God! – Kaylee

“We like it because of the music!” – Isabella and Autumn

“I look forward to talking about God and meeting new people.” – Jordan

“I feel like when we come here, even though the central idea is to learn about God, it isn’t super overbearing. You don’t learn too many things at once.”  – Jose

“My favorite thing about VIBE is having fun and the friendships I’ve made.” – Christopher

“I look forward to having fun!” – Brody

“VIBE is a place where we make an absolute fool of ourselves, eat lots of snacks, and have just pure fun… and maybe win some gift cards!” – Sadie

“VIBE is a place where I can hang out with my friends and learn about bible stuff…but it sticks and you can apply it to your life.” -Ashley

“I look forward to seeing friends and learning more about Jesus and winning prizes and playing fun games!” – Katherine
