Neighborhood Assistant duties and responsibilities:
The Neighborhood Assistant is responsible for supporting the Neighborhood Director in seizing every opportunity to grow our organization and make it an integral part of the city. We want the people of Hoboken to value our service to the community and recognize our meaningful impact. The Neighborhood Assistant will seek to make sure all events, ordering and scheduling are solidified to optimize the impact. Candidates should expect to balance multiple small and large event planning at the same time.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Neighborhood Director in scheduling
- Partnering with various ministry areas to organize supplies
- Participate in community activities, bridge events, non-profit coaching, and missions
- Coordinate and execute simple acts of kindness around the community
- All other community impact related items as assigned
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
Neighborhood Assistant skills and qualifications:
- Must have excellent communication, multi-tasking, and planning skills
- Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects
- An interest in community development
Neighborhood Assistant Requirements:
- A commitment to the Hoboken Grace mission as well as an understanding of and willingness to serve within the values of Hoboken Grace
- Drive, a humble heart, and emotional intelligence are key attributes to success in this position
Total Compensation Package:
