  • 2020 1 Day Hoboken!

So much more than a Sunday service. We are a family who grows together.

Sept. 26
9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Every year, we take one day to bring together as many people as we can to accomplish as much as we can for our city. It’s a day completely devoted to service. September 26th, 2020 is the tenth annual 1Day Hoboken.

Registration: 9:30 – 10:00 am

Project: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

After-Party: 1:00 – 3:00 pm (TBD)

This year, we will be taking extra safety precautions including various outdoor launch spots and virtual opportunities. We are also encouraging people to sign up with people inside their quarantine group so we can have people with people they have already been exposed too.

Gloves, masks and hand sanitizer will be provided. Usage is required during registration and is recommended when social distancing is not possible.

We take the safety of all participants seriously. This year, we will be launching from multiple parks around town. This will help keep the registration less congested. We are also encouraging everyone to register with a group of friends. This way we can keep groups intact on projects and limit cross serving among individuals. Don’t worry, we will certainly make sure that everyone has a chance to serve. We are also looking to reduce the amount of sharing for tools.

Lastly, we will follow the recommended guidelines on face masks, gloves and use of hand sanitizer.

We allow children to serve with their parents and we will have family friendly projects.

Yes! Space allowing, each participant will be able to choose their project when they check in the morning of the event. We will send the list of projects out in advance for people to review.

We send out communications via email at regular intervals starting at 30 days prior to the event. We use MailChimp and so the communication may go to your promotions tab in Gmail. Here are instructions to make sure that doesn’t happen.
