This Easter, we decided that it was time to ask the difficult questions and explore the reality of faith. Perhaps you have had doubts yourself. Doubts about God. Doubt regarding His love, loyalty, or maybe even His existence. We want to welcome your concerns and give you a starting point that challenges your doubts and provides a platform in which you can begin to ask the question, Who is Jesus?
‘Mistake’ is a tricky word in today’s world. It has become a default response to define our actions and wrongdoings even when we know better. So, where do we draw the line between an intentional and unintentional mistake? What is the difference? Join us as we explore how to recognize sin and the breaks we create between ourselves and God. Listen as we learn how that recognition is key to understanding our true starting point and how restoration is only possible through Him.
God does not break promises, so why is it still so hard to have faith sometimes? To understand, this week we explored the promises God made to Abraham and how God’s plan was moving forward even when it wasn’t always obvious. Looking back, we now have the proof that God’s promises to Abraham were kept! Listen as we explore that story, the love God has for us, and how we can grow stronger in faith each and every day.
What is it that establishes a relationship with God? We may all have our own thinking on that, but the foundational answer is trust in Him. God does not condition a relationship with us based on our ability to follow the rules or achieve good things. For us to have a meaningful relationship, all we have to do is simply trust in Him and be willing to follow His lead.
When times get tough and spirits are low, have you ever asked yourself how it all happened? Or how things could be made right? Maybe there is a bad memory about something you did, and you have no idea how you could ever forgive yourself. Today’s conversation talks about an outlet that can release all worries and doubts. Some may think this news is too good to be true, but we encourage you to open your hearts to God’s love and experience what He has made possible.
Often in our personal relationships we find a way to keep score, and many of us have similarly been told that our performance impacts our relationship and standing with God. But what if God doesn’t keep score? What if “right standing” with Him isn’t earned just by our actions? Listen as Pastor Chris talks about the intention of behavior in our relationship with Christ, and what it looks like to receive the free gift of Grace. Because God doesn’t want something from us, He wants something for us.
So many times we look for evidence to support what we believe to be true. We think “I’ll believe it when I see it.” And for many of us, that is true of our faith journey as well. How do you trust a God that you can’t see? What does it look like to believe in God? What do you do with the doubts you do have? Join Pastor Chris for this powerful conversation as he walks us through how to confront the reality of our belief and what it looks like to put our faith in someone, rather than in something!
We live our lives for so many different things and we invest our lives in so many different things, but what if we could use our time and talents for something even bigger? We are all called to be part of that bigger mission, and during today’s conversation Pastor Chris talks to us about understanding the invitation we have all been given. What will you do with it?
