This morning (5/31) we released for the first time the Hoboken Grace Growth Path. Simply put, this is our plan as a church community to accomplish the mission of helping people find their way back to God. In Ephesians we’re challenged to live our lives with purpose and intention.
1Cor. 9:24-27 Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.
We’re challenged to not simply run, but to run strategically as we pursue the one who has pursued us. How do we do that? Click here to see how we as a church are intentionally designing everything that we do to help people not only experience Christ, but mature in the mission and purpose that they have been given.
