This Memorial Day was a wonderful reminder of the bravery of those who served our country. Additionally, it was an opportunity for friends and family to come together, and cherish the freedom that these courageous men and women have given us.

Over 150 people from around the neighborhood gathered at the Maxwell Place Pier to enjoy a day together. Those orange Hoboken Grace flags flying at the pier made it super easy to spot where the picnic was, and it was indeed a very nice time. The New York City skyline also made for the perfect view and backdrop for all the photos!

As the official start of summer, it was quite the treat to see the sun out with some delightful weather! There were plenty of games for kids and adults, paired with some amazing snacks! Many laid out picnic blankets, while others took the time to walk around and connect. It was a great opportunity to meet new people, have fun with family and friends, and just spend a day outside. Can’t wait for next year, and stay on the lookout for more events!
