What type of soil are you planted in? Are you in rocky soil, or rich soil that is full of life and promise? Perhaps you are in viable soil, but it has a few sticks and stones. Whatever type of foundation you are finding yourself in, Jesus has created a foundation for every single of one us that is far better than the one we planted ourselves. Christ wants nothing more than for us to have a genuine relationship with Him. This relationship will plant us in a soil so rich that we will have no choice but to flourish in this life that He has created for us. How committed are you to Him and your relationship?
Have you ever felt as if God owes you something that was withheld from you? Do you think that God is not listening to your prayers? It is easy to believe that God owes us rewards for doing good in the world. However, that is not necessarily the case.
