Have you ever learned something you knew to be true, but left you asking, “Ok, but what does that look like in REAL life?” It’s one thing to know something. It’s another to live it, to have it bring vibrancy to our lives.
Jesus was a master at bringing truth to life. His ability to use story to transform the way we interacted with truth and God was remarkably powerful. Join us as we look at the stories that Jesus used to help us realize what true life really looks like.
This Summer come alive as you see truth in living color!
What type of soil are you planted in? Are you in rocky soil, or rich soil that is full of life and promise? Perhaps you are in viable soil, but it has a few sticks and stones. Whatever type of foundation you are finding yourself in, Jesus has created a foundation for every single of one us that is far better than the one we planted ourselves. Christ wants nothing more than for us to have a genuine relationship with Him. This relationship will plant us in a soil so rich that we will have no choice but to flourish in this life that He has created for us. How committed are you to Him and your relationship?
Have you ever felt as if God owes you something that was withheld from you? Do you think that God is not listening to your prayers? It is easy to believe that God owes us rewards for doing good in the world. However, that is not necessarily the case. Join us as we dive into what it looks like to be gracious for what we do have; and understand what our relationship with Christ looks like in real life.
Some people are given countless and excessive opportunities in life. Some of us are only given a few. How could this be fair? Why does God put us in these situations? This is not an easy hitch to settle with, but by listening to God’s word we can understand what it means to make the most out of what we have.
