Become a Dinner Group Leader: Create Space for Authentic Community and Growth

Become a Dinner Group Leader and Create a Space for Authentic Community

At our church, we believe in the power of small groups to foster authentic community and spiritual growth. Dinner Groups are a place where people can connect, learn, and grow together. As a Dinner Group Leader, you have the opportunity to create a welcoming environment where this happens. Here’s how you can be part of this impactful journey.

What It Means to Lead a Dinner Group

Everyone has a role when it comes to spiritual growth process. Here are the four that we have identified.

  • The INDIVIDUAL must OWN the process of personal growth.
  • The GROUP is there to SUPPORT the growth process.
  • The LEADER has the opportunity to ENCOURAGE the growth process in the lives of the group members.
  • The CHURCH is here to PARTNER in the growth process through training and equipping.

How the Church Partners With You

You’ll never lead alone. The church partners with Dinner Group Leaders in several ways:

  • Community Leaders are available to assist with group needs.
  • The Care Team supports leaders in handling care issues beyond a friend’s role.
  • Pastors are available to help with spiritual questions.
  • Spiritual Growth Opportunities like Amplify and Axiom are available for both leaders and group members.
  • Service Teams provide an outlet for members to serve the community together.

By partnering with the church, you’ll feel confident in your role and equipped to support your group in every way.
