Improving Date Night

We’ve all been there. Your date night is set with a reservation to your favorite Hoboken restaurant. Your outfit is picked out and ready to go… and then it hits you. You’re all ready but you’re unsure what you’ll fill your conversation with that night.

We’re here to help.

In a recent message shared by Pastor Chris he encouraged us to create space for conversation in our relationships. Over the years I have found it helpful to think of the questions I want to ask my spouse before the date.

We reached out to our married dinner group leaders to hear their go-to date night questions that fit well inside of how Jesus encourages us to love in Mark 12:30. Feel free to make them your own!

Did you read/follow/or listen to something this week that you found interesting?

What’s something new you learned recently?

What are you looking forward to this week?

What are you stressing about right now?

What can I do to make this week easier for you?

Is there anything lingering on your/our to-do list that I can help with?

What made you laugh or smile this week?

What made you feel loved this week?

Is there an area where I could be more engaged?

How have you experienced God this week?

What is God teaching you as you spend time with Him?

How can I pray for you this week?

How has your God time been/how have your rhythms been?
